Hello, World!

What if the two trees outside of my window are mates? And through all the seasons they are there, next to one another, yet separate. Maybe under the soil their roots touch, and joy shoots up through the bark and inner flesh of each tree.  I’m sure a dendrologist could tell me all the scientific things known about trees, but I prefer to imagine some things, such as two trees having the luxury of spending a lifetime next to one another — separate yet together — leaning over to touch one another, their limbs rubbing against the flesh of the other.

  1. I just wish I were not in New York this Saturday! I would really like to attend the workshop! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog! 🙂

Shall I leave some white spaces next time to show that I am breathing and don’t always exclaim over everything?
